Fraud by HealthPartners Dental

I have exhausted every governing body that I have access to through District 199. Four years of hostile nonsense.

First 2 yrs only standard coverage. Experts were tainted nonetheless. 2016 to present we pay for Unlimited annual cap for coverage at a premium cost but experts are tainted against me as soon as I consult with them. The cost of treatment estimated at $12,000 and I have already paid $5k for orthodontics due to 2 misapplied crowns by Dr.

Bauer at Oak Cliff Dental, Eagan, who incidentally became providers for HP dental in 2014 but are only listed in State Employees of WI directory. Two words - Cover up! Dr. Bauer has friends in all places since he has been in practice 36 years.

Health Partners Dental is a Fraudulent plan in my experience. I wonder how many others have been in the same situation.

MN Dept.

Of Health is derelict in their duty to govern and sanction this HMO. Commissioner Malcom is not responding to me.

Problems

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Partners called asking for information and then when I try to sign up for an account it ask for personal information it's ridiculous it's a scam and I don't appreciate the Dig being for information on their website to sign up for an account but the heck I just wanted to sign up for an appointment! not good!

by the way the Stars 4 rating went away and I ended up having to do this without being able to choose a star I would have chosen 1 star.

Really so I couldn't even submit this unless this complaint was at least a hundred words I don't understand why I have to keep adding something and doing things perfectly to their standards I've said what I was going to say and that's all I wanted to say but since they want me to say more this is more of what I'm trying to say and therefore I hope this is enough of what I have to say so that I wouldn't I wanted to say will be posted.

They are a scam

When I use my insurance package thru health partners they claim they pay a said amount to my doctor and I have been going to for years I know what she charges. And they claim she charges more than normal all they are doing is screwing us over for the money they charge us and when you call them no body knows what to say except to blame it on someone else they have cost me alot of money and time. I think it's time to call in the Attorney General and have them look into it. I bet they will get better answers than I and I hope the fines are more then they make to stop them from doing this to everything else

I am about to take some kind of action. Either a complaint with the State of Michigan or the Attorney General.

They practice deceptive methods. First - there no one in network. So, you locate someone and they submit to become an in-network provider. They are denied and you are told there are in network providers....they even list one.

It's the exact one that submitted to be in-network. Then -they deny your appeal. Also -tons of deception in their denial letters. There is zero way to get treatment.

I love the one where they tell you you can use any Out of Network provider....and the next letter states the opposite. Why would they even care? They don't pay either way!

Scam...deceit. There's a phrase for this tomfoolery: Bedazzle them with Bologna

Worthless Insurance

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Health Partners will ONLY pay for “in-network” insurance claims. This means I cannot doctor in my own common with my established doctor. They want to force me to drive 30 miles to one of their in-network doctors. I get socked with $500 doctor/lab bills every 3 months because I refuse to drive 30 miles. Oh they “say” they MIGHT pay a portion of it, but NOPE they will not. I HATE Health Partners insurance and I know for a fact I am not alone on this opinion!! It is horrible!!!!!!! Sarcastic

Done with hp

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I think HP has been going downhill. They can't keep providers, have a lot of turnover. They are terrible at providing support for depression anxiety. They don't listen to the patient and would rather humiliate you so you don't come back. Avoid their telemed services at all cost. Also, if they screw up and almost kill you, they will back paddle and try to get you to just stop coming there. They almost killed my significant other with their stupidity in failure to diagnose his condition. The doctor that did diagnose it, who was actually good at his job, retired. They prescribed me medication that they never should have and sent me on my way. It almost killed me. And yet they act like it's my fault. They are hurtful and I would not recommend going there. There's not a lot of options for healthcare anymore these days. IT's a broken industry.

God awful. Avoid at all costs.

Asked for a prescription for a generic epinephrine autoinjector for myself, and that I would like the prescription sent to a particular CVS. Idiots submitted a prescription for an EpiPen...for a child. Asked the doctor THREE TIMES to rectify this error, even submitted it in writing, and every time, would fix one part of it and screw something else up. Dose, location, prescription. Something was always wrong. Went to the CVS with the wrong prescription, the pharmacist said they would take care of it and did. Within a day, the folks at CVS managed to fix what I could not. Kudos to the fine folks working at that particular CVS, they are excellent. Fast forward, I needed a tDap immunization. By law, this is to be provided at no cost. These jackwagons at Healthpartners tried to charge me $225!! I submitted a copy of the law and "like magic" the bill was immediately corrected. What kind of lowdown shady company tries to pull this garbage? As if they don't know those procedures are covered by law? How many people have they swindled for $225? Ugh, shut this train wreck of a company down.

Trying to communicate with customer service is insane! You get a call center in who knows where and there is no urgency, you get rude people and every single time my family has a doctors appointment they wont' process the claim because they want to confirm if we have any other insurance. NO WE DON"T WE HAVE HAD THIS INSURANCE FOREVER AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to call them every single time we see a provider to explain that we don't have additional insurance and request for them to process the claim. So extremely frustrating. I called to ask customer service a couple of questions regarding benefit coverage and she was extremely rude and cut me off. I am paying hundreds of dollars a month for *** insurance and being treated like crap. FUN!

Um, I know for a fact that they do not send out their coordination of benefits letter THAT often. They send them out once, maybe twice a year.

Lack of Empathy & Poor Care

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was a patient with HealthPartnerd for approximately 12 years, and was fairly satisfied with the care I received. That all changed after my mom died. The insensitivity of the healthcare providers was appalling. I was struggling with depression and anxiety, and they were not particularly skilled in treating these impairments. I was told that I was "emotional" when i broke down in tears during an appointment. I gained weight during this time, and one provider wrote down "that I should enjoy eating salads for lunch." Nothing like being fat shamed when you're struggling with the loss of a close family member as well as a Major Depressive Disorder. I tried going to other providers within their system, but had difficulty getting appointments, and they seem to have a fairly high level of staff turnover. I left HealthPartners 3 or 4 years ago, and will never go back. I wouldn't go back to them if they were the last medical provider on earth.

Dispute of a bill

Hello, 3/30/2018 I am on the peak individual $6000 plus bronze plan. patient# 3036**** claim #27828**** service date 3/16/2018 On my policy i got in the mail in November explaining coverage for 2018, I see under Specialist visit it shows a $30.00 co pay just like it has since i have had since 2015. So I go to my doctor and end up with a bill of $235.57 NOT HAPPY. Call customer service about this i'm told this is a mental health claim which is not covered for 2018 and no where on my policy is there anything explaining a mental health claim customer service was no help and said this is what its. I feel it is very poor for Health Partners not to have listed this on the new policy. My doctor is a specialist and should fall under the $30.00 co pay as listed for 2018. This is a mistake on Health Partners by not listing a the mental health issue for 2018. Richard Nicholson (651) 748-**** Would like to know what will become of this.... Thank You

You shut up! I love the nurse Navigators!

They're such sweet ladies! You're probably some grumpy old *** who was rude to them first. You probably acted like an entitled bumface! They are so knowledgeable and kind.

Sometimes, I feel like just calling them for a chat.

So, shut up. Some entitled customer.
