HealthPartners - Run as fast as you can
Do not ever be seen by Kathlyn J Leiviska, ADT at healthpartners midway dental . I asked for a specific filling and she refused. Then went against what I wanted as a patient and proceeded with silver filling. As she wanted, opening her mouth to show me what hers looked like in an attempt to persuade me. She said "see you can't even see it" Thank god I recorded my visit on audio. On one visit she said we are going to work on 2 top teeth and two bottom teeth never specifying which teeth. Never discussed or showed me a treatment plan either before or after . Dentist are to make recommendations not force their own agenda on patients. Patients are to always have a final say on thier treatment plan, If any.The last appointment I walked out on I revisited our previous conversation after she told me we working on 4-6 teeth fillings( I wasn't even aware of needed to be worked on that day). I explained as a patient I requested a certain type of treatment that should have been accommodated. Instead I have material in my mouth I never wanted.she Still was not listening to me as a patient. She kept telling me she can redo her work but it would ultimately be more damaging to my teeth NOW. I spoke with another dental facility and noticed NO ONE EVER WENT OVER A DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN WITH ME OR WHAT WAS BEING WORKED ON PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENTS. NOR DID I SIGN AND EVER AGREE TO ANY PLAN.They do everything electronically whether you agree to something or not it doesn't matter. They will put what ever they want in thier notes and it's factual to them. NOTHING YOU SAY WILL MATTER. Even if you weren't aware or didn't agree to it. I was simply instructed to go to the receptionist and make the appointment. Which ended up being 4 appointment. Each of which I had no clue what was happening until I arrived AND VERY VERY briefly as previously explained told what would happen. No documentation provide to explain what would be done or was done . I still have no clue which teeth had cavities or the severity of the cavities. If you are a person of color /minority run from this facility. Do not trust your family member here especially if they cannot effectively advocate for themselves and communicate. Actually on my second appointment with her (I have this recorded ) she and her dental assistant kept dropping tools on my face! Never have I had that happen to me before! Healthpartners is not a company anyone should be doing business with. I never had any issues with the riverside location EVER. Only thier OTHER LOCATIONS!!! Protect yourself! BE AWARE!!!

On July 17,2019, I went to the Health Partners Clinic located in Wabasha, Saint Paul to see a doctor. The doctor sent me to the lab to have a blood test. The woman who drew the blood test on my left arm, was very insensitive to my needs. She was suppose to take her time to disinfect the vain part before inserting the needle. Shortly after, she put an elastic bandages around my arm extremely tide. The next day, the whole area became infected. It looked like bruises. When finally, I talked to the Clinical Manager about the pain, she told me that I had to pay again to see a doctor. This is the second time this is happening to me. These two women who drew blood were very inept unsensitive and cruel.

Preferred solution: I need to see a doctor again to receive treatment due to pain and the infection I have, but I should not pay copay again or medicaments due to the staff member negligent behavior and harm made to me.

I've also had this happen to me at the Andover riverway clinic which is a heathpartners clinic, some of them need more training I think same with some of the managers and some of the doctors but heathpartners does not care about us people they proved that to me, it's a horrible company to get your care with!

I was going to andover riverway clinic and was treated pretty bad by one of the doctors there so i tryed and tryed to contact the manager to the clinic but i could NEVER get a hold of her and she NEVER called me back so all of a sudden i get a letter saying that i cant go to any healthpartners clinics anymore, its absolutly wrong how they treat people and i cant believe i got kicked out of all of there clinics because of her when she's the one who should have been fired for not doing her job and caring for the patients at her clinic, its not right what these people get away with! But i will be filing a huge complaint with the state about this! Also whats sad is healthpartners sided with her without even asking the patient what happened! I cant believe this company gets away with a lot of things and how bad they treat people that they suppoesdly say they care about but they do NOT!

My wife went in for blood work, insurance did not cover it because she has high cholesterol, said it is a preexisting condition , next the eye doctor said she needed surgery on her eye lids insurance said it does not meet there criteria for surgery , I did not realize they were medical doctors I am going to take her off my insurance plan at the end of the year and just pay cash it does not make sense to pay such high premiums for insurance that does not cover anything , seems like theft to me

Absolutely worst insurance company

Said i had preexisting conditions, didnt pay blood work at mayo, i paid 576$ out of pocket, dr filled out preventative care, still didnt cover it, that was last year. This year optometrists said i need eye lid reduction due to pressure on eyes and eyelashes, health partners wont cover, husband pays $250 out of check every two weeks for health partners, 3m used to have blue cross, blue shield and they were fabulous, everyone who's having a bad experience with health partners needs to turn them into BBB, they r legally stealing your money.

Outrageous pharmaceutical price!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I transferred all my prescriptions from the local Walgreens store to Health Partners pharmacy, where I am a member, to have the prescriptions delivered by mail, although of course this pharmacy is not the only one that offers this free service. However, the first prescription that came for refill was OZEMPIC, a relatively new drug to treat diabetes. When I called the pharmacy to their phone number 612-623-**** they quoted me that I had to pay $ 546.00 for a month supply of that single prescription, which was an amount much higher than the price that I was paying at Walgreens previously. However, trying to find out where the problem was the pharmacist contacted me with the Health Partners Insurance4, who explained to me that according to my plan I had to pay 25% of the price of the prescription. I asked the insurance woman to put me back with the pharmacist (the pharmacist’s name was Sue) and asked her to verify the price of the prescription not the price I had to pay because of my insurance, the price that any customer with no insurance would have to pay to get the prescription. She quoted me $ 2841.38 and that the $ 546.00 that she quoted me I had to pay was a little bit lower than the 25% I was supposed to pay because of some accounting issues that favored the customer. Therefore, the problem was not that my insurance was not willing to pay. The problem was that at Health Partners Pharmacy the price of one-month supply of Ozempic was $ 2841.38!!! Well, maybe, I thought. But then I decided to call around to find out what other pharmacies in the area were charging and the prices that I found ranged from a low of $ 769.25 for Kroger up to $ 866.04 at Walgreens. Immediately, I transferred my prescriptions to the local Walmart pharmacy where the price I ended up paying was $ 190.00 rather than the outrageous $ 546.00 that Health Partners Pharmacy asked me to pay. Since then I am in a crusade against Health Partners Pharmacy. If any of you readers have purchased OZEMPIC from Health Partners Pharmacy please contact me for a potential class action lawsuit against Health Partners. My name is Roberto M. Rodriguez and my email is rmrodriguez1234@***.com

I have the HP insurance and it sucks so damn bad, our company is huge and they cannot give us cheaper premiums because we have to many older people here.????!??!?! This came straight out of their horses *** When I started going to HP I had an A1C of 6.1 and had this for decades. Then started at HP and within 10 month of going to their specialist an their dumb doctors, My A1C ended up at 10.+/ I left and went to Allina. Now I am down to a 7.1 range. HP sets you up to fail so they can make profits thats the bottom line. *** The Health board for HP needs their clocks cleaned.

Orthodontics

I am very disappointed with HP orthodontics. Inconvenient locations and schedule. When I went there to get my lower retainer, a dental assistant gave it me in the HALLWAY to put on, which I found very unprofessional and unsanitary! Moreover, it turned out to be someone else's upper retainer?!!! When she called the lab, they said it had been sent to a different location. Shouldn't she have checked the order before actually giving it to a client??? I lost another day of work, and I have to plan another visit... Very frustrating and disappointing! I will never bring my child to HealthPartners Orthodontics!!!!

Appointment Scheduler Bloomington

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Future Employees Stay Away From This Company!! I was working at HealthPartners through a temp service. I successfully completed my three weeks of intense training to become a Appointment Scheduler/Insurance Agent. They told all of us in training that it was completely fine to get errors because we would be working with leads would would help us fix them. I was on the floor for a week and a half and got 4 errors and I followed up with my leads and fixed them. No big deal. I was about to head into work on a Thursday and I got a call from my temp service agent that HealthPartners had let me go. They had no information as to why either. All they could tell me is that it was over errors. I asked what errors and my agent didn't know. I was frustrated and really sad. I didn't understand why I was let go over errors since I was told many, many, many times that it was okay to get errors. About a week later I find I out that it was over phone errors. I accidentally transferred a couple people to the wrong clinic. I never even got the chance to meet my supervisor. My leads nor supervisor informed me about these errors. They just let me go. I couldn't believe it and I still can't and it happened over 4 months ago. How *** of the leads and company to do this to me. Especially when is employees were always told it was okay to get errors. Later on I found out a few other things about this shady company.. My Co worker was also let go for phone errors as well but nobody followed up with her about them. They just let her go on a Wednesday. Also the training class before me only 18 of the 20 actually got hired on. That is a horrible rate! They have training class after training class as well. That says alot! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

Couldn’t stand the department but loved the company

Original review Dec 11, 2018
It’s been about a year since I last worked here and can I say the supervisors and some of the coworkers you work with are unprofessional. I didn’t like working for this company at all and quit no more than 2-3 weeks into the job, because the people (2) people in this matter. I felt never took their job seriously and were quick to start drama rather than to build a team. Plus the main supervisor didn’t know what she was doing and every time I would ask her for something she would take the time to explain it, but as soon as I went to my desk she would tell me I’ve been in idel for too “long”, when she took an hour to explain to me how to do something because I didn’t want it to be wrong? I was an intern and very new to the job but I do not tolerate discrimination. My mentor was a *** If she didn’t something wrong and I told her it was wrong she would shrug and ignore me. I never asked her for her help, because she didn’t even know what she was doing. I was frustrated and yeah admitted to calling her a *** and for saying she didn’t know what she was doing and later apologized to the girl because she was so butt hurt. Anyways over all as a company I would say train your workers better so when their department is hiring. People actually stay. This was a *** department to work for and I don’t recommend it at all, but over all health partners is a great place. Just not those particular 3 idiots I had to work with. I feel sorry that health partners even hire people like that. I don’t care how long you’ve been there. If you can’t take consecutive criticism then don’t work there. Trust me. Everyone complained about them. When they heard I was quitting the two co workers seemed like they were worried I said something to our boss. Whatever, I didn’t see them the rest of the day and if I did they looked scared because they probably thought the manager would say something to them. Train your people to be better. NOT just on the phone.

I paid for a child policy on Nov 5th 2018. They took the money with the blink of a eye. Today is December 30th and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY DAUGHTERS INSURANCE CARD! She has been complaining of stomach pain for the last couple weeks and I don’t have any of her insurance information. Thought I was signing with one of the better insurance providers..... already regretting it.

The member services staff is incompetent, extremely rude and in desperate need of quality training. You can tell they hate their job and are mad that they work in a tiny box all day long and clearly don’t have any real training or basic phone etiquette. Do better.

Won't stop calling me multiple times a day.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
There is something wrong with this company. I searched for customer satisfaction websites only after trying to block all the numbers they have called me from to no avail. They continue to call me from multiple numbers. I finally answered the call and asked the rep what the name of the company is. SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! The second time I spoke with someone they couldn't even give me the correct name of the company!! This Company should be turned in for #TelephonicHarassment. My recommendation is to stay away and do not do business with this company. Any company that calls people this many times in one day should be Turned in for Telephonic harassment. I am now typing dribble in order to fill up the silly 100 word requirement of this consumer complaint website.
